BOEXI on SQL 2000

A user is executing a report via URL. The report opens just fine, but when they click the Print icon within the report, the pop-up window is blank.

I have made a few modifications within IE Security that seemed to be a likely fix. I cannot find a fix for this. It has happened a few times long ago, but I do not remember what corrected the issue.

Can anyone provide some insight of what I might try to fix this? It works for everyone else, just not this one user.

Thank you!!!

My guess is that they are using the DHTML viewer when looking at the report - and their UserPreference for Crystal Reports set to the "ActiveX print-control (One click printing)".

They don't have the rights to deploy new ActiveX in their browser. Sometimes this is a global-setting within large organizations.

Your two options are -

(A) Have an Admin deploy the ActiveX print-control to the required PCs.

(B) Change the UserPreference for Crystal Reports to use the "Acrobat Reader printing control".
