BOEnterprise vs. Crystal Reports Server 1

Just high-level, does anyone know what Crystal Reports Server is and how it relates to Business Objects Enterprise (or Crystal Enterprise)? Is it basically a watered-down Enterprise "Lite" with fewer features? Or is it more closely related to the older Crystal Reports method of publishing reports to the web than to the Enterprise product?

It's an entry-level "user-limited" version of the Business Objects Enterprise XI infrastructure.

Would that explain why I get a lot of Page server errors - I think its likely being due to more than 1 person trying to run a report at the same time?

I am using CRXI server - app and all services are on one machine. The page server becomes unavailable alot - esp If I know someone else is running a report at the same time.

Is BOE XI more stable in a multi user environment?

I have installed another page server in the CMC - and still had same prob - now installed a 3rd and saw the error again.

Any suggestions?

What are the error messages being shown ? CRXI Server tends to come with a limited number of licences and will manage those itself without generating errors. How are users accessing reports ?
