In CE10 AdminLaunch Admin Tools there was an object rights table which showed you in tabular form what rights users and groups had to folders.

I can't find this facility in BOE XI R2 Admin Tools - have they taken it away or am I looking in the wrong place?

There is now a Check User Rights button on the Rights tab of all objects

Thanks Groggle - my problem is we have over a thousand objects - and the mapped AD security groups have advanced rights over folders and objects -

our network guys are doing a big rename of groups exercise and this means they will fall out of the AD authentication and need to be added back in.

We need a list of the rights in a table format like you used to be able to do.

We think we may have found the solution in the form of the security viewer utility, which actually looks pretty good - free from BO website:

Looks like we may be able to export details en masse from there.

Thanks for you help anyway.

An excellent way to avoid this issue in the future is to initially create Enterprise Groups to establish your security model and then make your AD Groups subgroups of the Enterprise Groups. This way if your AD Grouping changes, you do not have to re-establish your security at the folder level, just change the AD Group sub Groupings.

Thanks Groggle - that's a really good idea - I'll try and put that in place before the network guys start to change the security group names.
