BOE-XI from version 5-6...

Hello,

I have been out of the Business Objects arena for several years. The last version I worked on was either 5 or early 6. I am now going back into BUSOBJ with the current version. From what I understand, the architecture has pretty much completely changed from previous versions. Having been away for several years and working on a new install, am I in for a steep learning curve? I've been reading some install documentation and much of this appears very foreign to me. Any suggestions?

Hello,

I have worked with BO version 5 and 6 and it was a steep learning curve when going for XI.
If you just have to install the application is not a great problem. The main issues are in setting user security. I would suggest concentrating on that part.
