BOE XI and the SF QueryString

Hi,
In CE10 I could use ( a carryover from previous versions):

[URL unfurl="true"]http://MyCeServer/viewrpt.cwr?id=1004050&apsname=Guest&apsauthtype=secEnterprise&SF={HR_PUBLIC.DEPT_NBR}[/URL] startswith 'T7921'

to run a report and change the Record Selection Formula as needed..

I do not see a way to do this in XI, since the .cwr is unsupported and a call to viewrpt ( asp or aspx) does not retain the SF part when calling the Bridge...

Anyone using this in XI - If so, how?

Gosh..Learning is fun..

I found out how to implement the SF style in the new Crystal Viewer object..

There are 2 properties that can be specified:

With Viewer

.SelectionFormula = 'Whatever'
' Substitutes for existing or provides new Formula

.ViewTimeSelectionFormula = 'Whatever'
'ADDs this to the existing selection formula


Some day I'll learn all the tricks....Yeah, right..
