Hello,
We have our offices across Europe and Asia. Our users in these offices access and run crystal reports (Business Objects Enterprise R 3.1 sp4)that is installed in our location in New Jersey.
There seems to be an issue with using date time functions like Currentdate, Today, Now, printdate, etc. The issue is that it picks the date time in New Jersey and not the local timezone.
We set the preferences to be local to their respective timezone but this still does not fix the issue.
Has anyone come across this issue and have any workarounds? We have considered updating our reports to use the time zone shift calculation. This might resolve the issue but we have around 2000 reports and this is a daunting task.
Please share your experience and let me know what was your workaround.
Thanks,
Rivi
