I have the full page designed in FW MX. From FW, I have a box allocated for the body text; this will be a container of variable text depending on the page.

When I export this to Dreamweaver MX, the rectangle spot for text content is of type graphic(.gif). So okay, fine, I delete it and enter my own text. My question is: how can you start your text from the top left of the rectangle(table). It seems its starting on the center.

I like to convert the exported page to a template and just modify the text content but retains the navigation on top and on both sides. Also, if I have a longer paragraph, it messed up my navigation menu on the sides.

thanks

when you cut up your page and you want to have one section as html, use the options bar at the bottom in fireworks(slices) and choose HTML instead of images- then you get a text table. Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
