Hi

Does anyone no a way of blocking inbound/outbound mail by user without removing their SMTP mail address from their mail box. Our company policy is not to allow inbound or outbound mail for specific users and we have just bought a request managment system that requires these users to have a SMTP address. We are using Exchnage 5.5 SP3. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Smokey

I believe you can do this under thier mailbox under the tab "Delivery Restrictions" and instead of allowing "All" under the accept messages from to select list and add your internal list of employees. Have never implemented it but that looks like what you are talking about.
