BOC and protected screen fields

Hi,
We've been playing with BOC for a while now, using both the objects (mmm...objects) and the MSO interface. We have recently come across an issue where when we attempt to write to a protected field on a screen, there is no error or warning, so it looks like the field will be updated, but the field is not updated.

Has anyone seen this before, or better still, got around this? Is there a way to tell that a field is in "Protected" mode?

Hi Steve,

I've had the same problem but the field was actually getting updated (Account Profile on MSO685).

We are now using Ellipse and the problem has been fixed. There is also a "Protected" property that can be used.

Try getting the latest version of the Middleware (mimsx.dll) from Mincom.
