Hello i have a legend system that i upgrade from 5.0 to 7.0
before i upgraded the system i did a back up to my laptop and the i did a file convert fro 5.0 to 7.0 the first card in the system slot 1 is a 408 atl board for the old style merlin phones. what i tried to do is after the restore of the file that was convereted i took out the 408 atl board and installed a 408 gs/ls -id mlx board and i did a board renumber however the board was never reconized by the system at the operators phone the lines started at 805 instead of 801 any ideas . i do not have any phones plugged into the 408 gs/ls-id board just lines 1 thru 4 thank you

You can't willy-nilly change boards around.

The restore must be made to the same boards, in the same order as it was when you downloaded the translations.

AND, although those are both 8-station boards, the digital MLX ports also include 8 adjunct stations, which will screw up every station to the right of the replaced board.

You need to put the boards back the way they were, then do the restore. Then back up the system to the PC Card, so you will be able to return to a known place. Then do a "Print All", replace the card and do a board renumber, then a 2nd Print All. Use the comparison feature of the report viewer to see the differences, and reprogram your system.

Hopefully, you don't have many stations, or you would be better to start from scratch.

If you have a test bench Legend cabinet, power supply and
r7 processor...load your current system config into it and
now make your changes...without boards in the cabinet its
alot easier to do.
