Hi,
We've just installed a copy of Business Objects Enteprrise XI and are trying to use the import wizard to migrate over all of our reports from Crystal Enteprise 8. We have two separate servers, one being an old NT4 BDC (which will eventually get reformatted and BO XI will reside) and the newer one being a test (temporary) server but with Windows 2000 Professional on it. I have installed a new MSDE engine to hold the CMS data on the win2k pro machine and created new ODBC entries for the data from reports (which point to another server running SQL Server 2000).
I'm running into problems in the areas of permissions and proper setup and was wondering if anyone could give me an overview of how the security for the various services, database, etc is supposed to be set up using either Windows NT authentication or Windows Active Directory ?
Thanks
Kevin.
