BO XI R2 on Linux and Oracle Application Server 10.1.3

We are implementing BO XI R2 on Linux (Redhat Linux 4) and Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.

We contacted Business Objects and they said they support only OAS 10.1.2 and not 10.1.3.

Anyone implemented XIR2 on Linux and OAS 10.1.3 and faced any issues?

Is there any added benefit of going with TOMCAT versus 10g.
All our other applications run on 10g

Many of the BOE product suite requires Tomcat as the Application Server: Performance Manager, Live Office and a few more I can't recall. Check the Supported Platforms doco for BOE XI Release 2 Service Pack 2 and the BOE XI R2 Deployment Guide.

Also there is much more tech support knowledge for running BOE on Tomcat than Oracle.

Moonknightt, we are trying to do the same...Linux and AS 10.1.3. Did you get yours to work? We got 10.1.2 to work and 10.1.3 almost completely working on a windows environment. Now we just need to prototype it on a Linux/Unix server. I understand you need BOXI R3 for AS 10.1.3.
