Hi
I am working with CRXI on SQL Server.
I was working with Crystal Reports years but not at all with BO.
We have just installed BusinessObjects. I have started to read documentation. I used InfoView to distribute reports and I have built an Universe. Didn't get me anywhere for now, well nothing to show to my boss.
I wish to know if I can build a Dashboard without dashboard manager. Is this posible? And then where and how shall I build one? Or could I have Dashboard Manager installed and I don't know? Is it a separate software we have to buy?
My boss wants me to send him some data (from the reports or whatever) somewhere (in InfoView?) so he could build a chart based on those data.
Can I create a SQL command and see it in InfoView?
I just want to start from somewhere to be able to give something to my bosses.
What shall I read next?
Please help

I think you're in the wrong forum, it sounds like Crystal Reports.

If you want something to show, use Crystal's inserts, crosstabs and also charts. If the data is fairly simple, you can do a chart in 10 minutes that should look very impressive. Multi-colour or three-dimensional, the sort of thing that might take hours without the right tools.

Thank you
I know how to build charts with Crystal.
Thing it is my boss wants to make charts himself.
I need to build a dashboard for him
