I am using BO CMC with Crystal Reports 2008. I have a report that I can run locally on my machine that is based on an access database. This database is stored on one of our shared public drives and does not have a password.
When I schedule the reports to run in the CMC they are failing. The message I am getting is saying:
Error in File ~tmp17e865eca3c0840.rpt: Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters.

I am not sure how you are connecting (OLE, ODBC, etc.). But any Access database that we connect on the BO (we normally use the Access/Excel (DAO)), we have to specify the entire UNC (we are on a Novell Network).

Yes, you absolutely must use the UNC path and not a mapped drive. You should also do this when you design the report - especially if the Access database does not require a user ID and password. Otherwise you'll get a login screen when you try to view the report and you'll get the error you're seeing when you try to schedule the report.
