I know 2003 does not support BMR but did you have success fully restore a failed server using the ntbackup? Back in the days, it used to be a shot in the dark. More often then not, a failed server would be decommission and data would be restored to a new server. I am now stuck with a server that I have to support and cannot migrate data for a little longer. It has several applications (legacy). If i install 2003 and perform a full restore, what are the chances i might get lucky? Any help would be most appreciated
