I have successfully upgraded my 3.6 2.2c to 4.0.
I am having the below issues, after the upgrade.
1. I have downloaded all the 4.0 updates. I have applied the two core updates, and re downloaded the Element Manager. The rest of the updates will not take, I point Element manager to the directory and hit OK, and it just returns back to the previous screen.
2. The power light itself on the BCM400 is coming on red, and will return to green and back to red at a really random pattern. All systems are running normally.
3. Unable to get Element Manager to run on Vista. I have tried running in compatibility mode as suggested on the forums (Windows XP SP2), and it makes it further but then stalls and never finishes the installation.
4. Unable to determine how to monitor the music on hold. I used to be able to hit Feature 86 to monitor the music on hold. I know the music is working as I can place test calls and its there.
5. I have the BCM400 doing my entire networks DHCP, so I have re setup that for now. I eventually want to move this over to a windows server instead. It is passing out IP address correctly, but fails to pass our Primary and Secondary DNS, I have been having to manually go around and set this statically.
Thanks for all your advice, this forum is great!
