Hello,
We are testing BMC patrol on one of our SUN servers. I was wondering if anyone here is using BMC Patrol. My question is how can we test all the senarios on the box. Like how do we simulate High CPU, memory, filesystem filling up etc on the sun box.

I appriciate any help

Thanks

high cpu: install Oracle... (or start 100dreds of finds)
high memory: install Oracle... :) (or write a Program allocating memory eg. using C's 'alloc' or C++' 'new' in an infinite loop)
file system: install Ora...., aehm no, just write a small script eg:

while (1)
mkfile 100m /filesystemmount/file.`date +generate an increasing number`
end

Regards
