I recently posted a problem I was having with poor images on my webpages. Well they are only blury on AOL. Any ideas why. I wonder if ther is any way to fix this. They are clear in Internet explorer.

aol does do some distorting I am afraid and have been a victim in times past. There is not much you can do other than get a different internet service provider. They got where they are by good salesmenship not by quality of service regretfully. Ya' Gotta Love It!:)X-)

There's a couple of things you can do to solve this. First, in Photoshop's preferences (File > Preferences > Saving Files), set the 'Image Previews' popup menu to "Never Save." This will prevent AOL's blurry image syndrome at least some of the time.

You can also request that your AOL users turn off image compression in AOL's preferences like so:

Open the “My AOL” preferences screen in the toolbar across the top, click on “ icon and select the “web graphics” tab. Unchecked the “compressed graphics” choice and click the “Apply” button at the bottom.

Hope that helps.
