I don't have any problems with this machine but I run HJT scans occationally today I noticed this entry.

O18 - Protocol: widimg - {EE7C2AFF-5742-44FF-BD0E-E521B0D3C3BA} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\btxppanel.dll

I did a google for this and noticed several people suggesting that it should be removed.
None of the Proccess ID sites could ID it.

Then I remembered that we were trying out a bluetooth dongle the other day, I think this is most likly a legitimate Bluetooth protocol?

Life is like a Grapefruit, sort of orangey-yellow and dimpled on the outside, wet and squidgy in the middle, it's got pips inside too. Oh and some people have half a one for breakfast. Ford Prefect.

I think it's legit. Do you have this kind of stuff on your machine:

C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\BTTray.exe, etc...then it is legit.

Yes, from the bluetooth evaluation we did recently.
This does raise a wider question some people are being told to delete files (Not in this forum) that will clobber their bluetooth stuff(or whatever). It shows how careful you have to be.
