Bluetooth adapter for 9611g

Hello,
I was wondering if there was any type of bluetooth adapter that you could buy that would plug into the headset jack for the 9611g? We have bluetooth headsets here that we would like to use if possible. I looked online for wireless headsets that were compatible with the 9611g and they are all really expensive so if it was possible to just have an adapter plug into the phone so you can connect any bluetooth headset to the deskphone, that would probably be the best solution.

You can buy bluetooth adaptors but then you also need to buy a wedge stand, they will not perform as well as a proper wireless headset though, you tend to get what you pay for

I'm not even sure they work with 9611 tbh, they were released for the original 96xx series

@amriddle01 - You are referring to the Avaya Bluetooth Adapter which was discontinued 1.5 years ago and also was not supported on the 9611G.

You can still get hold of them though, you can buy the wedge stand for the 9611 so it may be worth a try if you have money going spare.... I did say above I wasn't sure it would work with 9611

Cheap and Best Solution usually don't go hand in hand.

If you want things to work buy wireless headsets intended for the phone you're using and can give you support if it doesn't

Andy & gwebster are correct, That Avaya Bluetooth adaptor ( 700383789 ) only works with 9620, 9620C, 9621G, 9630, 9630G, 9640, 9640G, 9650, and 9650C
They do need the wedge stand, but the module only physically fits the first series 96xx Phones.
I have only installed about 3 of them in the past, they did work quite well.

ksalce, The 9641G has Bluetooth capability built in.
