Blue Tip Line Cord for Dss?? 4

Does anyone know of someone who can make custom links of this cord and how much.i am in desperate need of 3 of those cords in 4ft length.

i don't know about that site but if anyone else has this problem i have found a solution.a company called Nicom Tech sells them from 7ft to 50ft lengths the 7ftprice is $8.95.and thanks tom for a quick reply.

I have another solution I use in a pintch:

IT's called a DREMEL TOOL.

The "KEYED" BLUE DSS Cord is a Regular RJ-45 with two grooves down either side of the Little Plastic Tab, + a "KEY" on one side.

Well, I have used my DREMEL to cut those two grooves, and you do not need the Key.

Jus a thought!

I Have used wire cutters to whittle down the regular rj45's till they fit. Watch the legnth though. too long and weird things start to happen.

That keyed 8-Position Modular Plug never really caught on very much. The trick I have used in the past is an X-acto knife to remove the key from the plug or even a putty knife which may be more available for the task.

Just be careful when using either.
