Blue screens

Hi there,

I've got the following problem:

I have my new pc for 3 months now and sinds the beginning I get blue screens every now and then with the following messages:

PNF_LIST_CORRUPT
***STOP: 0x0000004E (0x00000002, 0x00011EBE,0x0001FFEB, 0x00000001)

BAD_POOL_CALLER
***STOP: 0x000000C2

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONEPAGED_AREA
***STOP: 0x00000050


The BAD_POOL_CALLER fault happens the most.

Can someone tell me what this errors mean, or tell me where I can find that?

I would appreciate the help!

Microsoft Knowledge base suggests it could be a number of things, but in all likelihood driver based issues as far as the bad_pool_caller STOP is concerned.

Have a look at the knowledge base on MS website, and search for bad_pool_caller etc etc.

Hi aces00,

I red it just yet.
But that is when you upgrade a pc from Win 2000 to XP.
This was a new pc with a new installation of XP.
I checked if the files, discribed on that site, were on my pc but they were not.
