Hi can any one help me

i have facing one issue.

This is blue Screen message.

"a problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your problem.

the BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant.please contact your system vendor or visit for an updated BIOS".

Technical Information.

The blue screen shows steps to take. Did you take them?

Well that wasn't very helpful!

Can you reset the BIOS to default? See number 2 on this page: Link

Did you create the image from the exact same model Dell computer?

yes i take same model image but still same

I would go as far as to suggest that Muzakkir lists all troubleshooting steps that have been taken...including the steps that led to his situation. There's too much ambiguity.

Are the BIOS versions in the source & destination the same? What are the machine specs? What OS is being cloned?

The domain of hardware-update.com was created for Windows 2000 installations and was mostly abandoned after 2000. This suggests a significant incompatibility issue that you have yet to explain.

I would agree except to argue that ambiguity is due to English being a second language and not from laziness.

One can always post in their mother tongue.

Why was there a claim that the blue screen instruction steps were performed (by visiting a non-functioning web site)? If the system vendor was contacted, what was replied? The lack of details (in any language) certainly smells of laziness.

I wasn't aware that you could post in other languages on Tek-Tips, but point taken. Does the prosecution rest its case?

I'm hoping my posts were not too "litigious" and I encourage Muzakkir to continue to troubleshoot here.

"hardware-update.com" should not appear on a system that can't be more than 2 years old. The defendant is providing questionable testimony to the jury. [bigsmile]

Understood, sustained counselor.

Solution;

Clean install rather than imaging.

I totally don't understand how this thread ended. The image caused the problem?

Since it's windows 7, can you do a windows repair on the machine that's not booting?

Just my $.02

So you found the solution? What was it?

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57

No matter what the solution is, if you have a Dell computer I would never go to a third party site to get the new BIOS code. I would go to the support page on Dell to get the real version.
