I have had a few Blue Screens in the last couple of weeks on my Acer i3 running Win 7 Home Premium. saw the following error: BCP1:0000000000000031. Saw a heating issue.

I since have hooked up a cool pad and never run the laptop without it. Also am running CPUID, and it shows that my core #0 and core #2 are running at 46-49 C.

Do you think that I will be seeing any Blue Screens again?

Daniel

Did you try clearing out the air vents before using the cool pad? My laptop just used to close down completely if 2 cores got to 100C. I don't use a cool pad - just cleared out the air vents and it was OK until they blocked up again.

I would check out the dump file to see if it sheds any light. You can use an online dump analyzer unless you have the windows debugger set up on any of your PCs
