What could have caused a blue screen whenever I luanched Windows Explorer to access floppy drive. I have tried on same machine (Athlon 500MHz with 128MB RAM) using Windows NT 4 installed with Service Pack 5 and 6a.<br>

I dont know if you have SP5 or 6a installed but 5 has some issues with it (check up on the MS Knowledge base) MS Office 2000 also has some wierd BSOD bugs as well. Better to actually READ what the blue screen is telling you. Look at what driver was accessing memory at the time of the crash and reference it down to all the drivers and system files you see on the actual dump. ( you can do this is event viewer ) next, find which one is actually crashing the system...a lot of times it can be the win32 subsystem being overstressed. win32k.sys. try reapplying your service pack and start troubleshooting it down to hardware. Hope this helps.
