Yesterday I bought an AMD Thunderbird 1200 and an ASUS V7K133 with Hardware Raid. I have an 80GB HDD, 3*128MB PC133 RAM and a Geforce Graphic Card.

While installing Win2K I get the above error message during Installation. The error comes up when it sais: Windows 2000 is being installed. Your screen may flicker for a while"... when the Progress bar is at around 60%

I think its either CPU, Memory or Mainboard.

Was anybody able to solve this problem with a similar hardware?

Thank you!

tried it with another VGA card ? Peter Van Eeckhoutte

Are your components on the HCL? You are at the point it is installing devices... Your raid driver may need to be installed when you see the "Hit F6 to install a third-party SCSI or RAID Driver" at the beginning of the install. This will be necessary if a driver is not found for the fixed disk that contains the boot partition.
