I'm using Windows 98 Second Edition. This morning, when I turned on my computer, I received this blue screen error message at Startup:

32-bit device driver CDRPWD(01) + 0000AD23 has attempted to use a system service which is not loaded.

If I press the Return key 3 straight times, i can get back to desktop and my computer will function properly with no problems at all. But I think it's pretty annoying seeing that Blue screen every time i restart my computer. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks :)

I think that .vxd file is for a CD Burner. If you have a cd burner with Adaptec or Nero, you may want to try uninstalling the burner software and booting up then. If you don't see the BSOD you'll know it's the software causing the blue screen. Then try reinstalling the software. Might have had a bad install or corrupted the CDRPWD.vxd file somehow.
