PC 2GHz/1 GB RAM with XP Pro SP2 and equipped Video Card with 4 connected Cameras.
Problem occured approx 1 hour after starting of PC. The trouble started while playing back videos from an internet video site. Some Features in Windows are effected as well: No Screensaver, Some Hotkeys ({Windows}-D, Alt-F4 etc) do not work.

Last good configuration installed and vga driver update not successfull!

any idea???

Do a full system scan for Viruses & malware. There are loads that embed themselves in video files, often disgused as an activeX component to run the video.

See if System Restore will get you back to a restore point before your problem with Windows.

Try Safe Mode (Do you have this problem in Safe Mode?).

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right-click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking. Select both boxes.

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.
