Blue Screen - 0x00000001

i have recently installed xp on my computer but at random times the computer just crashes to the Blue Screen with the error code 0x00000001

the first part is 0x00000001

then: (oxff87Booo, oxooooooo2, oxoooooooo, oxfc6c2f2d)

there was then some more info:
'fc6c2f2d base at fc6bcooo, datestamp 3bbac7al'

i dont know if that is any use to you?

Not really, the error message should contain a file name. If you could post that it would be very helpful.

In this case I do not think there is a file name involved. It is a kernel error, and there exists nearly no documentation on it.

0x00000001: APC_INDEX_MISMATCH

The best guess is that it is likely disk related. Use the Recovery Console and do a chkdsk /r
