I don't know if anyone has experienced this. I have had an HP 2550 L colour laser jet for some years now. First class print and fully reliable It went badly wrong about a month ago and I've been having discourses with HP technicians ever since. After several false suggestions, it was agreed that the imaging drum was faulty so I needed a new one, (I'm paying for all this mind/) I installed the drum and did a test print, Superb as it used to be. BUT, when I printed out a Publisher page which had images inserted, there were light blue, horizontal lines across the picture, just inside the placement boxes - never outside. Colours were fine and the clarity was unimpaired. But still the lines throughout each picture.
I have been on to HP chat line tech. support, which is normally super efficient, as it was today but the chap in Bangalore couldn't work it out. Anyone any ideas?
I have 2 scans which show the lines clearly but don't know how to put them on this site. Any help appreciated
