HI,

I have some xp client pc's (with server 2003) on dhcp who can currently access the internet. We will have some new people starting in a week or two. We do not want these new people accessing the internet at all. How can I block internet access for these new users.

Also, the new users job is to input data into a web front end hosted locally that backs onto an sql dbase. So, removing ie6 is not an option.

any ideas ?

thanks,

Paul

Try putting these users/computer accounts into a seperate OU, then create a GPO and put in a dummy proxy server address. Cant remember off hand the exact path to the policy concerned, but im sure if you carry out a search on this forum you'll locate it..
