We have call manager 3.33 and I have recently been asked to stop most (but not all) of our users from being able to make international calls to the UK.

We have an intercluster trunk to the UK but despite training and instruction on how to make break-out calls many of our users are still placing 0044 calls to the U.K.

They need to be able to make calls to other international numbers in countries that we have no trunk to.

What and how is the best may to do this?

I'm fairly new to AVVID and need help.

Use Translations

1. Create a Partiton called UK_ICT -UK Interclsuter trunk and assign that to everything

Create a CSS which has access to the ICT

2. Create a translation 901144! ( if you are in the US or what ever is your int. access code)

you now need to delete the 900144 and insert 90 followed by the digits after the 44 so to break out to the UK

Chose PREDOT
outgoing mask ? you will need to test how you delete the 01144 and insert numbers e.g

uers dials
9011442081234567

delete 901144

insert 90 followed by 2081234567- not all teh UK digits are fixed they may be 10/ 11.

In the UK CCM you need to esure that the ICT on the UK CCM has access to the local G/W

hope that helps
