OK, Brdid 77 is for ELU28 (digital) so I say there's not digital instrument plugged in. Likewise for the Brdid 87, does it say "Line Lcok"? If so then the analogue line has locked out (handset off hook or similar)
SLASH50;
This is what I have exactly and my question is how to come over this.The problem is that the instrument plug is a DTS for the bordid 77 and ATS for bord87. Alex gave me the blocking code.
Should I replace the telephone set or?
thanks

Firstly you should check the cabling, it is normally someone unplugging a phone or patch lead that causes the problem. If that looks OK then try changing the phone, it's not often that they go faulty but it could be worth checking.
Sometimes the phone lead can be run over with a chair or desk, that can break the wires inside.
Last resort is to end and reinitiate the extension, it might just have locked up, but this is doubtful.
