We are currently running Exchange Server 5.0. I need to find out how to block e-mail coming in from one particular external e-mail address. I'm sure this can be done, but I'm not sure from which menu.<br>

Thanks.

I understand how to block a specific user from our domain but is there a way to block a specific external e-mail address from a certain Distribution List and NOT the entire domain? (we have Exchange 5.5)

Any information would be GREAT!!!

First create a custom SMTP mailbox with the email that you want to reject. Then go into the properties of the distribution list and select reject from and modify and choose the new custom recipient.
You can then go into the custom recipient and select hide from address book under the advanced tab.
