Is there a way to block the domain GP from applying to one computer running XP pro.

Here is the problem.

All my computers connect to a proxy to access the internet, but I have one that I do not want to use any proxy settings. This needs to be for everyone.

currently I have a GP for the users applying the proxy setting automaticly and I do not want that for this one computer. also I still need it to be a part of the domain so user can login and access there info.

so if I could block the GP from my dc's and use the local then my problem would be solved

Thanks

Put the computer in it's own organizational unit and block inheritance to it.
That'll stop the policy to be applied to that computer.

I'm in a 2000 domain only.

Thanks though

That would work but the proxy settings are in the users GP not the computers GP
