I am looking for a quick and easy way to block calls to certain codes from our Avaya IP Office box.

Someone has been calling 09066 premium rate numbers and we wish to stop this happening in future.

Is there any way I can block calls to all 09066 numbers without having to go to the provider who will do it, but only if we pay £25?

Thanks in advance

ShortCode 09N
Telephone Number <blank>
Feature Busy
this will bar all premium rate nos.
if you want to get nasty

ShortCode 09N
Telephone Number <your extn>
Feature Dial Extn

Next Time someone calls a premium rate number it will ring your extn & they can explain why.

Use a system short code
Short Code 09066 or 909066
Telephone Number N
Line Group ID 0
Feature Busy

if you use IPGuru's reroute to your own extension method, run Phone Manager as well so you can scan the missed calls log should they do it when your not at your desk.

Or reroute it to a VMPro callflow that will send you email with all the juicy details, then play a .wav file consisting of a grandmotherly voice saying "shame, shame shame on you!!! You dirty birdy!!"

*grin*
