I have a 406v2 3.2(54) with a PRI. I want to be able to send caller ID when I dial 9 but block it when I dial 8. I was told to put a W in the short code in the telephone number field and that would prevent caller ID from being sent, but it sends the extension number of the calling station. The provider has the circuit flagged to let the IP Office control the caller ID. Has anyone had this come up? I welcome any suggestions.
Thank You

Very same issue, customer wanted to send unavailable. IPO will send out the DNIS digits in the incomming call route that points to the phone you are calling from. That feature is actually very helpful when a customer wants to send out caller ID that doesn't match their extensions, but anyway I tried everything possible and tested with Tier 4 for two hours and the result never changed. Had to change to a T-1 and had the provider block caler ID.

You could probably send out the ID for a did that you do nto use, and route its inbound ICR to a module that says this number is no longer in use to the caller.

I have this working on a site. I have the short code like this

[8]1N;
Dial 3k1
TN=1NsW

some provider work and some don't
then those providers don't follow the rules :)
