Hello,

I am running Ms Outlook 2000 and 2002 on a ms exchange 2k environment. Wanted to know if there is a way to block attachements from ms outlook 2000 or 2002 without using exchange2k? If yes how do I go about? is there a tutorial in how to do this?

Most Appreciative,
:)

Please clarify...

You want to block all attachments (but still receive the message text)
or
You want to block certain attachments (but still receive the message text)
or
You want to block the etire message if it has any attachment
or
You want to block the entire message if it has some paticular type(s) of attachment.

I want to block the entire message if it has some paticular type(s) of attachment.

and

I want to block certain attachments (but still receive the message text)

Can I do both of these?

Please help! I am recieving unwanted attacments.

Thanks

For the first request...I can't think of a way to do that for certain attachment types. Mail rules won't even work because there is no distinction for different types of attachments.

As for the second request - 'block attachments but still receive text' - Fully updated versions of Outlook will do this already. See
