Hello all
We have had emails returned for this reason: "This message has been blocked because the HELO/EHLO domain is invalid" when sending to another domain. We are using Exchange 2003 on a Server 2003 box. We use a .local domain in Windows DNS, but in the properties of the SMTP server we have set a Masquerade Domain which is a .com domain (the domain we send emails from is in fact a .com domain). I understand that .local domains are not routable in worldwide DNS.
Does anyone here have any experience with this kind of issue? We seem to be blocked purely on the HELO/EHLO message that is sent out from the server.
We are using an SMTP feed to receive our emails through our ISP.
Many thanks for any help on this issue!
