I have two phone (configured identically) One can dial a number that does not accept 'blocked ID' calls, and the other can't. I check station short codes, and can't find any differences between the sets or profiles??? They are both pulling lines from the same PRI trunk group.

Any place elst I can look for a cause?

There are no User Restriction set, But it does not effect all calls, just to a specific outside number that 'does not accept calls from callers with Caller ID Blocked' - But others in the office (pulling channels from the same ISDN-PRI) CAN get through to that outside number. Weird?!!?!

I need some input, can you help?
Jeff

does the problem phone present CLI when it makes outgoing calls?
if not check the user Short Codes to see if this is being deliberetly withheld

There are no User Short Codes on the phones. I am checking the CLID to see what comes out of the switch, but it SHOULD be the same (Main number) as every other user that has no trouble.

Strange...

If there are no user-shortcodes to control the CLI, the station will present it's DDI-number from "Incomming call route", maybe your station has no DDI?

My suggestion: Program a user-shortcode on the problem-user, to force the CLI. Then you should be up and running!

Don't spend time barking up the shortcode tree - just call your cellphone from the phone in question and see what shows up as caller ID. If it's the same as everyone else you can move on to the next tree.
