I have a Meridian 1 option 11, I have set mt FFCT Code CPP to *67.
When I dial *67 9 XXX-XXX-XXXX it blocks my caller id which is what i want, my problem is that now all mt calls are blocking the caller id. is this working properly? How do I turn off the call blocking and just have it block on a per call basis?

Remember the *67 only works dialing out PRIs. Unless you changed something else, like a prompt on the phone related to privacy, you did not break anything. Test from a phone you have not changed.

These are PRI's that I set this up some time ago. The problem that I am having is that some phones are blocking the caller Id all the time the others are sending the main BTN. Is there a class of service that will turn off the CID blocking.

Hey Kstew60, did you ever get this resolved? I'm not sure what you set up (FFCT? CPP?).

I have users at a location that have just transitioned from a Norstar where they could use a phone company code to block ID on a per call basis, but now they're on the network using PRIs at other locations.

At this point, I haven't found a way to mimic what they're used to doing to block caller ID on a per call basis (CLS CLBD/CLBA is all or nothing). Techs at AT&T haven't been able to offer anything.

So, what did you do and did it finally work for you?

NEVER MIND!

I did more searching and found another thread that got into the details. I followed the example for the set up in LD 57 (FFCT CPP *67) and tested from my desk phone to my cell. Went from showing the caller ID for the PRI (per the CLID table) to "unknown caller." YES!

No one at AT&T could ever tell me how to do this. THANK YOU Tek-Tips and fellow members. What a great resource. Would it be too mushy to say I LOVE YOU ALL? :-X

Have a great day!
