Is there a configuration in exch 2003 to reject email from outside that is pretending to be me from the inside?

eSafe i had used previously had this option, but we no longer use that gateway. We use Trend Micro SBS Worry Free. Is there an Exchange option, or anything else i can do that you might know of in Trend?

thread955-1272185

covered this 2 years ago, but was no overall solution aside from 3rd parties. Is that still the case?

Can you tell me if you forsee a problem with me using the following?

1. Message Delivery - Sender Filtering
"Block messages that claim to be from the following senders."
- added *@mydomain.com
- ticked "Filter with blank sender"
- ticked "Drop connection if matches filter"
2. Applied the Sender Filtering to our SMTP virtual server.

I tested a couple internal emails and is ok, tested outside in, its ok, now just need to spoof myself externally to see if it blocks.

Use SenderID filtering once you have set up the relevant record for your own domain. Choose to reject failures.
