Block ports to servers running on VMware

Im new to the VMware and am asking as a customer is asking me.

They are running Voicemail software that has some SSL venerability's showing from the scan. They can't upgrade at this time and I was wondering if the SSL could somehow be blocked from the VMware side.?

Not sure if that makes sense or not but figured i'd ask.
