I need to block a residence from being called by anyone on my switch. How do I accomplish this?

'Change ars analysis [number]'. Insert the entire phone number, including the '1', if required. In the Route Pattern column put 'deny'.

you could also use ars digit conversion to change it to an extension # and route it to you desk,,,

We have a policy to not call 411, and use the inet for lookups, but was getting tons of 411 calls every month,, the CEO wanted me to block them,, so I routed the calls to his desk, via a VDN that read "information call"... lol
the looks on some of the users face when the ceo answered the 411 call was priceless... (yes I have a mean streak every once in a while) lol

Thank you 4merAvaya. That was way too easy. Although I like the solution Zen216 came up with. I wish I could do that. My problem is who I would send the calls to and if they would have a sense of humor or not.

I did something similar to Zen216 regarding 411 calls. I routed the 411 calls to 1-800-FREE-411. If they want to dial information, they can sit through some of the advertisements to get free information calls.
