hi!
a tech had done this for us before but I cant find the doc and dont remember how to do it.
We have a phone that we dont want to send call id info from. When we set it up before we had to set the class of service but I dont remember what else had to be done.

Any thoughts? Thanks

Drew

Think its just COS options.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Might have to play around with the CPN substitution stuff as well, depending on the software release and type of trunks you're using.

we also tried same but not worked its showing PRI pilot number but before we did it any one knows about

Ok.. just got this working today.
A COS was created set to send the extension First and Last name
Since this is a phone and not a hot desk user we left the last name blank and the first name UNKNOWN.
After we set Associated Directory number for that extension to 0. In the tests we did it seemed to work.

Best practice is to use Call by Call features on the PRI and deny Caller ID.

ARS programming is somewhat complicated for just one user though.

If what you'vr got working is suitable, it wouldn't be worth the effort.
