block internal caller only

Hello , my system vmpro 9 , i have my boss need to block only caller from internal number 3XX , 4XX , but he want ansewer call from incoming route number. I think it is possible but i don't know how make that.

Put the phone on DND and add a shortcode like *99/<the boss extension number>/Dial physical extension by number/0 and route ICR to the shortcode.
BUT, anyone dialling *99 will ring the boss' phone unless you create a user restriction table with a alternative function for *99 and assign all users to that table.

Wouldn't it work to put the phone on DND, then on the exception list enter 0 or 9 (ARS code) ?

thanks , but my idea is make a variable user with voice mail pro , it is possible make that ?

And my boss like another line in the telephone with key , i try make phantom extension , but i can not use that apperance is busy , only if i use analogue port.

I just tested it, enabled DND and add 0N to the exception list.

It works..

DND is the only way to restrict internal dialing to a user. IPO will always check for users and groups before it searches user and at last system short codes.
