Blocking outgoing numbers no problem blocking incoming numbers that have CALLER ID/PHONE NUMBER no problem ,however when I recieve an incoming call without a Caller ID aka (no phone number. Is their someway to block all calls that have no caller id/no phone number in any of these forms system/trunk/ds1/station or somewhere else in the switch. I have also check the system special application form as well.

Thanks

Is there a system paramater that I can block all non ani numbers. Any help on this would be apprecitated.

dont know if it would work put in youre vector try messing with if ani = ? or something similar send it to a vrt

The number is a DID line. I have temporarly set the inc trk table to route the ani to a vdn then to a vector. the vector step says if ani= none disconnect. But I would really like to block all non ani calls at my trunk group or on a sytem setting.

Thanks

Yes it would be nice if Avaya would add a system, and trunk group wide blocking tables.

good temp soloution looks like your are going to have to f6 in every vector and insert this step, keep us posted though as a global setting would be useful in some resprets but then terrible in others ,
(imagine the md ha unwittingly turned on block cli on his cell and cant reach the office etc etc etc) i guess that is why there is no global setting.

but with some thought and restructure i bet you could simplify ,that said only with less vectors ....keep us posted

ok i may get shot down in flames here make a vdn ,send all youre ddi to it,then a new vector, first step wait time 1 sec etc ,then if ani = 0 route to ****,(your ANI block), next step no stop just let it follow.

then the vector could act as your DDI table, then be used to route all your other calls to your normal vdns , example collect 6 digits if digits =****** go to step ** that points it to your existing VDN fot that ani, then it sends the call that it used to match in the inc trunk handling table. Some may disagree but i would always go to a vdn rather than straight to vector (Whispers ..ETC)

Repeat this with no stops until a ddi is matched or it goes to a second vector below or a message declaring "incorrect number dialled please try again" <that was an example.

Granted you would have a vector acting as a DDI table with 32/99 entries but if more are needed last step would be on your DDI goto vector ** at step * stop.

the new vector is again a 32/99 table ddi table.

Hope i have helped and not over complicated things im sure some one will say if i have.

good look.

or the above entry per vector a bit simpler than my method!!!
