Hi there,

There is a particular extension that I want blocked completely from being able to make outbound calls. I have used CM 1201 for full restrictions but there is no effect. Calls made from this particular extension to GSM or other carrier numbers still pass through. Any hints?
We use ips2000 and I am familiar with matworx.

Thanks.

You touched upon one of the most difficult things to do in that system. Toll restriction is usually done through LCR. I suggest you look at some programming guides at before attempting it.

do you have an operator console? if so, would room cutoff allow you to block all outbound, but still allow incoming calls ?

Might be easiest to put the extension in a different tenant and not allow that tenant access to the lines.

Following the LCR guides this is what I have belevedere,
200>0:A126-
200>1:100-
200>2:803-
200>3:803-
200>4:803-
200>5:A067-
200>6:A064-

0 is the LCR group which we are interested in.
And this is assigned to development pattern 0. I have noticed that from several(not one) extensions someone can dial 0 and then is able to call any where.

Expanding, we have

8AA000>0:4000-
8AA000>1:4001-
8AA000>2:4002-
8AA000>3:4003-

8A4000>00:1002-
8A4000>01:ERROR
8A4000>02:1002-
8A4000>03:1002-
8A4000>04:1002-
8A4000>05:1002-
8A4000>19:1002-
8A4000>30:1000-
8A4000>31:1000-
8A4000>33:1001-
8A4000>34:1001-
8A4000>35:1001-
8A4000>36:1001-
8A4000>37:1001-
8A4000>38:1001-
8A4000>39:1001-
8A4000>60:1001-
8A4000>61:1001-
8A4000>62:1001-
8A4000>63:1001-
8A4000>70:1007-
8A4000>710:1005-
8A4000>711:1005-
8A4000>712:1005-
8A4000>7210:1007-
8A4000>7211:1007-
8A4000>7212:1005-
8A4000>7213:1005-
8A4000>7214:1005-
8A4000>7215:1005-
8A4000>7216:1005-
8A4000>7217:1005-
8A4000>7218:1005-
8A4000>7219:1005-

8A4000>73:1007-
8A4000>74:1001-
8A4000>75:1001-
8A4000>76:1001-
8A4000>77:1001-
8A4000>78:1001-
8A4000>79:1001-

So landline starts with the numbers 300 and in route pattern 1002.
The mobile carrier numbers that I am interested to block start with the numbers 700 which use route pattern table 1005.
Actually we have PIN codes that we use to call mobile numbers from the extensions. but as I have mentioned, from some extensions anyone can call moble numbers after dialing 0. I just want all extensions blocked from calling mobile numbers except thru the PIN.

I could follow OzzieGeorge's advise but I have noticed that there are other extensions with the same issue.

Thanks for the guides.Things are slowly making sense[ponder]

According to your post, dial 0 is set up for toll restriction table 4000 NOT an LCR table. LCR tables are 4005-7. It also shows that the numbers are broken out into tenant groups. (8A4000>00>1002 = 8A1002>xx>yyyy.
What digit do you dial for outbound calling? 0? 9?

Thanks belevedere. For outbound calling we dial 0 first as in the following.

0 32xxxxx for landlines
0 72xxxxxx for mobile calls.

I will check out the tenant groups when I get back to the office.
