Does anyone know how to block the ext number from sending out when someone makes an internal call?
Thanks in advance.

I use clid normal entry on key 0, generic clid entry on roll-up line key 1

There are several ways you can.

1. The CLID and BigIndian stated,
2. CLS CLBA on a particular phones.
3. LD 57 you can build FFCs for the CPP (*67) and CPPO (*82)

I have tried CLBA and it does not seem to work. As for the CLID, I do not understand exactly. If i add CLBA in the class and dial an internal call it still shows the ext #.

you need to print your clid tables, ld 21 prt clid before you make the change.. i've seen switches where clid 0 was didn yes.. you may not have a clid table that is didn no, if that is the case build one and assign it to the dn..

key 0 scn 1234 5.. to assign table 5. 1234 return will assign clid table 0, which is default

Oh ok, I understand now, didn for entry 0 is no. The thing is I need to block the 4 digit ext for internal only. It's for a helpdesk that the customer does not want their user's to know the actual number. The CLID will only help for external.

There we go, thanks Jamie and to everyone else for the prompt response.

Sorry about that JMitch... You even stated internal above, and I missed that. The CLID, CLBA, and FFC CPP/CPPO will only work on external calls and you discovered.

JMitch... If you are fairly new to the Nortel and are not sure of all the CLS prompts, Gene has a good document on his site at called L1011.zip or something like that. Check it out and it will help alot.

Thanks...funny enough I have been doing this for about 5 years now, but mostly working on VOIP I forget alot about PBX systems. I appreciate your help and I will check out this document.
