I have a user that wants the current and then all future emails (Lotus Notes Mail v6.5.6) from a sender to be automatically deleted when he goes to tools, block email from sender, then OK. He doesn't want that email or future emails from that sender to end up in his junk mail folder. He also does not want to create a rule for each either. He wants to do a minimum of keystrokes. He claims he can do this in his home email client. Is there a registry hack or another approach I can try to accomplish this? Thanks.

Nice for him, but I'll wager his home email client is not Notes.

The solution in Notes is to block the sender, there is no other way around. And IBM has decided to send blocked mail to the Junk folder. If he doesn't like it, I guess he should open a support ticket with IBM and see what happens.

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.

A more appropriate way would be to have an SMTP gateway (e.g. sendmail or exim) outside your firewall that has a blacklist you can add to.

Anyone know of an easy way to export the blocked senders list in Notes? That's be an easy way to populate a gateway blacklist.
